My name is Aleida Contreras. I am one of the Co- founder of Women of Color in STEM and am going into my fourth year, majoring in environmental engineering. In my free time I like to watch movies, listen to music and workout.

Hi! My name is TreShai, and I'm a senior studying experience architecture and I am a co-founder of WOCSTEM. I absolutely love traveling and reading. Exploring different places, meeting new people, and a good book bring me so much joy.

Hi! I am Samhita. I am a sophomore majoring in Computer Science. I am from India but have lived in Kuwait for most of my childhood. My hobbies include reading (my fav so far is the Percy Jackson series!), playing chess (I have been playing since I was 3!) and listening to music (Spotify is my go to music app!).

My name is Paula and I am the communications chair. I am a sophomore studying biomedical laboratory science and I want to be a doctor. I love baking, reading and makeup. My favorite book right now is Parable of the Sower by Octavia E. Butler.

Hi, I’m Krina! I’m a sophomore at Michigan State University majoring in Biomedical Laboratory Science. I’m passionate about building community, breaking barriers, and making space for voices that matter. I grew up with lots of family in the healthcare field that taught me the flaws of our system which I want to better. When I’m not involved in school activities, you’ll probably find me baking something sweet, catching up on movies, or out with friends discovering the best food spots around.
